Hello people, sadly I am unemployed and having a very difficult time finding a new job, when say that I have applied “everywhere” I literally mean EVERYWHERE. As everyone knows I am a librarian and have been working on and off in the library/information services field for the past four yea…Dudes, thank you so so so so much. Like, infinitely thank you to everyone who donated and helped me reach my goal in LESS THAN 24 HOURS!! Seriously, I am so thankful to each and everyone of you. I owe you baked goods, drinks, +1’s to shows or pedicures.
I am going to keep this open for a few more days as this trip to the ALA conference will cost me about $600. As I am unemployed with very little savings every little bit helps, so please know that I am eminently thankful to each of you. For real, you are all wonderful people.
Yet again, THANK YOU to everyone that donated. Today is my last day at my job and I am beyond freaked out about my future both with my career and with my living situation. I’ll be going to the conference next week, but who knows what will happen after that. Again, THANK YOU.
